Big Idols Are Really, Really Big!

On May 20th Mike Hoggard did a wonderful teaching on idolatry in the catholic church based on a video of the "Iconic Monstrance" in a catholic church in Chicago.

I really suggest you watch this video, even though I could only bear a few seconds of it.

Now, the catholic church is infamously idolatrous, and also ravenously defensive of their statues, crosses, stain glass windows, golden this, silver that.

They argue that the statues are not being worshiped and therefore they are not idols. I've gone over this in another article, which you can read. The ultimate fact is that there is a lot of scripture against idols, but there is one piece of scripture that denies also, clearly, the creation of anything inanimate relating to Jesus Christ:

[Act 17:29] Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

However, the catholics are not the topic of discussion in this article. I want to draw attention to what idolatry can lead to and what the Torah repeated over and over about idols and statues in high places.

There are, to my surprise, some gigantic idols around the world. I have compiled a list here because its shocked me so much to see these pictures.

JESUS CHRIST and Mary

I would like to start out by showing you what happens when Jesus Christ is turned into an idol. This statue of Jesus Christ WAS in Cincinnati. It was struck by lighting and burned to the ground.

And you know of those standing in Brazil and Poland.

Name:
"Christ the Redeemer"

Contruction Details:
The statue is 99 feet tall with a 31 foot tall base. It was comissioned in 1922 and finished 9 years later on October 12, 1931 in Rio-de-Janeiro, Brazil. It was comissioned by the catholic church.

Esoteric Message:
99 is the number for seeing the LORD, God Almighty in [Gen 17:1] and 31 is the number of the false kings of [Jos 12:24] and time of regitgeous rulership in [2Ki 22:1]. The esoteric message being "see the LORD God Almighty kill the false kings and rule righteously."

This would be a righteous message if the idol itself didn't violate every ouce of Biblical truth. Thus, the real dead king here is the dead Christ in stone, ruled over by satanic idolatry.

This statue was build between two 14's (1+9+2+2 = 14 = 1+9+3+1) over 9 years. 14 is the number of a patriarical generation from [Mat 1:17] and 9 is the number of a failure to be thankful in [2Ki 17:1] and [Luk 17:17]. The message here, hidden in the dates is "the patriach of an unthankful people leads to another patriarch."

This message could be interpreted as righteous, again, referring to the unthankful Jews of the Babylonian capture period and washed away by the coming of Jesus. But, we are no longer in that period and there will be no new patriarch. Thus these dates actually celebrate the coming of a 'new Christ' known as anti-Christ.

We also find on the chest of this statue a heart. This esoteric symbol was originally used in pagan sex rituals; a mark of lust and depravity.

Name:
"Christ the King"

Construction Details:
In Świebodzin, Poland, groundbreaking was 29 September 2006, completed on 6 November 2010. The statue is 33 metres (108 ft) tall, the crown is 3 metres (9.8 ft) tall, and along with its mound, it reaches 52.5 metres (172 ft) overall. It weighs 440 tonnes. The project was conceived and led by Sylwester Zawadzki, a retired Polish priest.

Esoteric Message:
Again, we have the 33 referring to rulership over Jerusalem and the three metre crown, laden with Templar crosses, referring us to the coming anti-Christ.

Name:
"Virgen de la Paz" or "Virgin of Peace"

Construction Details:
The Monument to Our Lady of Peace is a colossal sculpture commemorating the Virgin Mary, done entirely in concrete, built 11 km southwest of the city of Trujillo, in Venezuela. With 46.72 meters high, 16 meters wide, 18 deep at the base and about 1200 tonnes, is the highest habitable sculpture of America, 5 inches taller than the Statue of Liberty.

Esoteric Messages:
Of all the statues this is by for the most laden with esoteric messages. The statue is 46.72 metres high. 46 is a reference to the number of chromosomes we have and is the number of words the serpent spoke to Eve in [Genesis 3:1].

72 is a refrence to the 72 names of satan, the 72 devils. Thus the height of the statue literally means, 'devils of creation.'

18 is another reference to 6+6+6 and the statue, being 5 inches higher than the statues of liberty, is almost to say that Mary is the true light of Lucifer.

But here are some of the others you might not know about that are half a world away. If you click on the images and look closely most of them have little people for scale. Putting the esoteric messages aside from pagan gods, these statues pay homage to their own wickedness. There is a huge list of these things here. I never realized how many idols there were in the world... pray they are all torn down.

BUDDHA The god of enlightenment (with the light of Lucifer)

Construction Details:
55 (180) high.

Name:
"Laykyun Setkyar"

Construction Details:
116 metres high. If you look closely at the two feet you'll a couple of people underneath.

Name:
"Sleeping Buddha"

Construction Details:
1500 feet long.

Name:
"Amitabha Buddha"

Construction Details:
40 metres high and clearly doing a '666' hand gesture and in an 'as above so below' fashion.

Name:
"Leshan Giant Buddha"

Construction Details:
71 metres high.

Name:
"Ushiku Daibutsu"

Construction Details:
110 m high, also doing double '666' and 'as above so below.'

Name:
"Spring Temple Buddha"

Construction Details:
128 m (420 ft) high, also doing double '666' and 'as above so below.' This is the largest statue in the world.

SHIVA The god of destruction

Construction Details:
43.5 m high.. talk about putting idols in high places! Shiva by far has the most satanic imagery. A trident, cobra around her neck, all seeing eyes and the works.

37 m high.. four hands to do satanic gestures with. Convenient!

GANESHA

Description:
Tacky.

MURUGAN

Description:
42.7 m high.

Description:
42.7 m high and freaking evil looking. He/she is actually doing the cornuto... wonderful.

No longer with us. R.I.P. Zeus (The 'P' stands for 'Pain').
